Media/English Teacher
Temporary Teacher of Psychology/Sociology – 1 Year Temporary Contract to cover Maternity Leave
The Governors are seeking to appoint a well qualified, enthusiastic, committed and talented person to teach ‘A’ level Psychology from September 2013 on a one year temporary contract to cover maternity leave. The ability to teach Sociology would also be advantageous. The successful candidate will join our highly experienced and supportive Sixth Form team.
Support Staff
Facilities Manager
This new role at Oaklands will provide an exciting opportunity to manage and develop our excellent range of facilities. Starting as soon as possible we are seeking to appoint a motivated, passionate and committed person to join us and work with our dedicated site team. Responsibilities will include Health and Safety and Fire Officer Roles, project management, development of the facilities for community use as well as ensuring the premises and extensive grounds are maintained to the highest standards.
You need to be a strategic thinker, well-educated and with recent management experience; ideally in an education environment, although this is not essential. Excellent communication skills will be required and in addition you must have a proven track record of leading and motivating teams. You will also need good organisational and IT skills. Educated to degree level or equivalent you should hold a recognised Health and Safety qualification.

The school is always looking to appoint high quality staff. Shortage subjects include Science (Physics Chemistry and Biology), Maths and MFL.

Cover Assistants & Exam Invigilators
We are looking to increase our pool of Cover Assistants, who look after classes when a teacher is absent. We are also looking for Exam Invigilators whose role is to supervise with other exam invigilators whilst students are sitting their public examinations in May and June this year
