The hall is licensed for a maximum of  500  persons

  • Level 1 user – Community groups composed of children under 18, the elderly or people with registered disabilities and registered youth groups.
  • Level 2 user – Other community groups including profit making youth groups.

 

A minimum hourly charge of £30.00 on Saturdays (£34.00 on Sundays) will apply although this may be negotiable where there is a concurrent user.

  • All hirers must leave the premises clean and tidy with furniture as originally set out.
  • All hirers must provide adequate supervision throughout the period of hire.
  • All hirers must familiarise themselves with routes to fire exits from the buildings.
  • All hirers must arrange their own insurances against claims for personal injury, loss or damage to property, caused by their negligence, and shall produce proof of its currency.
  • SMOKING IS PROHIBITED ANYWHERE ON THE SCHOOL PREMISES.

Cancellations

Hire charges are payable in full when the hirer cancels unless 48 hours clear notice is received by us.

The Governors/Headteacher reserves the right to cancel any booking at short notice in the interests of the education of the students or for other circumstances beyond our control, and will refund all money paid.

Health and Safety

The Governing Body endeavours to make available all facilities in a safe condition.  It is the hirer’s responsibility to inspect and be satisfied as to the safety and suitability of the facilities provided before the hire commence.  It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure all policies and procedures are in place with regard to safe guarding of children and signing this booking form confirms a ‘transfer of agreement’ is in place and that all vetting checks have been carried out.

Hire of kitchen

The following additional charges apply to the use of the catering facilities in association with the hire of other areas.

Kitchen and Equipment – standard charge (includes Servery and Sink) £20.00

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HIRE DOCUMENT IS ISSUED WITH THIS BOOKING FORM. FOR LONG TERM HIRERS THESE WILL BE ISSUED ANNUALLY UNLESS SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

It is the responsibility of the organiser whose name appears on the booking form that all Instructors/members using the School premises are aware of these terms and conditions.
